Summer and Winter Schools on Pharmaceutical Pricing and Reimbursement Policies

Since 2016, the WHO Collaborating Centre for Pharmaceutical Pricing and Reimbursement Policies at the Pharmacoeconomics Department has been offering, in collaboration with the World Health Organization, Regional Office for Europe, Summer Schools on Pharmaceutical Pricing and Reimbursement Policies for professionals of competent authorities and public institutions working in the field of pricing and reimbursement of medicines. These five-day courses, held in Vienna, offer lectures, hands-on training sessions, panel discussions with distinguished experts, case studies on implementation and optimization of pharmaceutical policies and study visits to relevant institutions in Austria. summer school

In February 2019, the WHO Collaborating Centre and the WHO Regional Office for Europe organised a three-day Winter School on Pharmaceutical Pricing and Reimbursement Policies for Russian-speaking professionals of public authorities. The course was held in Russian language and took place in Astana (Kazakhstan).

The Pharmacoeconomics Department offers customized trainings for public authorities in the area of pharmaceutical pricing and reimbursement.

The WHO Collaborating Centre for Pharmaceutical Pricing and Reimbursement Policies affiliated to the Pharmacoeconomics Department is pleased to host European and international research fellows as far as our capacities allow.

PPRI conferences

PPRI conferences that take place every four years provide an excellent opportunity for researchers from all over the globe to interact with the international research community and policy-makers in the field of pharmaceutical pricing and reimbursement and to present their research findings to an international audience.
