PPRI country information

Country pharmaceutical system and policy information is available in different formats, ranging from information at a glance on posters to brief and more extensive country profiles.

The majority of country information documents presented is based on templates developed by the Department’s experts and its collaborators. The country documents were predominantly written by country experts (usually policy-makers and technical staff working in competent authorities for pharmaceutical pricing and reimbursement) as part of their contributions to the PPRI project. Staff of the administrations prepared these reports on top of their daily tasks. Thus some of country information might be out-dated since there are limited resources for updating. Please check the dates of the country reports before use.

In 2019, the PPRI Secretariat started the series of the PPRI Pharma Briefs which aims to respond to the interest and needs expressed by policy-makers and experts to read concise country reports. Experts of the PPRI Secretariat have been producing up-to-date brief reports on pharmaceutical policies, particularly on pricing, procurement and reimbursement, of PPRI countries, supported by the expertise of the PPRI network members of the respective countries.
