The price charged by wholesalers to the retailers (usually community pharmacies). It is based on the ex-factory price and additionally includes any remuneration for pharmaceutical wholesale (e.g. in the form of a wholesale mark-up or a wholesale margin).

In German: Apothekeneinkaufspreis / Apothekeneinstandspreis (AEP)
Preis, zu dem der Großhandel Arzneimittel an die Abgabestellen (überlicherweise Apotheke) verkauft. Der AEP ergibt sich aus dem Fabriksabgabepreis plus Großhandelsaufschlag bzw. Großhandelsspanne.
In Spanish: Precio de Compra de las Farmacias
El precio cargado por los mayoristas a los minoristas (normalmente farmacias). Incluye cualquier margen del mayorista.
In Dutch: Apotheekinkoopprijs (AIP)
Prijs waarvoor de apotheek het product inkoopt bij de fabrikant, groothandel of productverantwoordelijke van een geneesmiddel. In Nederland staat deze prijs geregistreerd in de G-Standaard.
