Fees and cancellation policy

Registration fee for the five-day Summer School: EUR 1,550 (VAT exempt)

The registration fee includes:

  • tuition, 
  • course materials, 
  • study visits,
  • participation in a public event providing a panel discussion,
  • internet access at the Summer School venue, 
  • lunches (all five days),
  • drinks and coffee/tea during the course, 
  • dinner reception (2x) and social dinner (1x)
  • a guided tour through the centre of Vienna and 
  • the costs for public transportation within Vienna. 

Participants (or their funding institution) will be responsible for covering the costs of travel, accommodation and subsistence during their stay in Vienna. 

Payment of registration fees

Applicants will receive a confirmation of registration and a request to transfer payment. The registration fee is to be paid upon acceptance of application. The place at the Summer School is secured as soon as the payment was transferred.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations for registration will only be accepted in writing. The cancellation notification must indicate a bank account to which a (possible) refund may be remitted.
Registration cancellations made prior to May 31, 2020 will be refunded minus EUR 100 to cover administration costs. Registration cancellations made prior to July 1, 2020 will be refunded minus 50% of the registration fees. No registration refunds will be made after this date. Exceptionally, the registration may be transferred to another person complying with the acceptance criteria in your institution without penalty. This transfer must be notified in writing (email to whocc@goeg.at) and authorised by the organisers.

Scholarship

We will have two seats at our summer school where the registration fee is waived (we expect many applications!). If you are interested, please send us your application (indicating that you apply for the free seat) as soon as possible – see details here: https://ppri.goeg.at/application

However, the travel and accommodation costs still have to be covered by the applicant.
