Claudia is working in the field of health care for almost 25 years. After working in hospital administration she joined the Austrian National Public Health Institute (Gesundheit Österreich GmbH) in 1998 where she worked on a number of topics in the field of health and social care focusing on big data, public health, health systems performance, health policy, medicines and medical devices.
Her current position is Head of International Affairs and Consultancy Department at Gesundheit Österreich GmbH. She is (co-)author of a number of publications in the field and has more than a decade of experience in managing, leading and presenting large-scale EU project. She is General Secretary of the EURIPID Collaboration represents Austria in a number of EU activities. She is consultant to EU and WHO for a number of topics, including Big Data in Health care, medicines policy, male health and health information - just to mention the current ones. A recent publication is the Study on Big Data in Public Health, Telemedicine and Healthcare done for DG SANTE or the Euripid Technical Guidance Document on External Reference Pricing of Medicinal Products.
