Mag. (FH) Nina Zimmermann, MA has been working at the Austrian National Public Health Institute (Gesundheit Österreich GmbH) since 2009 as a researcher in several projects. She has been involved in major EU projects on pharmacoeconomic issues (PPRI, PHIS, study of the ‘policy mix for the reimbursement of medicinal products’). She organized the previous PPRI Conferences (2011, 2015, 2019) and the WHO CC Summer Schools in Vienna (2016-2018) and online (2021). Ms. Zimmermann has extensive experience in international, national and regional research of pharmaceutical systems and pharmaceutical policy analysis in the EU Member States and beyond. She has a master’s degree in Health Management from the University of Applied Science Krems, Austria and a master’s degree on ‘European studies - Management of EU projects’ at the University of Applied Science Eisenstadt, Austria. She gained previous work experience in the fields of injury prevention and addiction prevention as well as international cooperation and research projects.
