Margit Gombocz, BA studied Health Management at the University of Applied Sciences in Krems, Austria with a focus on Consulting in the Health Care Sector and Health Prevention and Promotion. Her bachelor thesis investigated the potential prevention of breast-feeding with regard to breast cancer. She started working at the Austrian National Public Health Institute in September 2011. After successfully completing her bachelor’s degree in June 2012 she joined the institute’s team working on pharmaceutical policies. Margit Gombocz gained extensive experience in the field of medicine price analyses and comparisons and has in-depth knowledge of orphan medicinal products and the regulatory framework related to cross-border health care.
