What is the best way to get from the airport to the City Centre?

  • From Vienna International Airport (Schwechat):
    • City Airport Train CAT:
      This airport train is the nonstop connection between the station ‘Wien Mitte / Landstrasse’ and Vienna International Airport. The ride takes approx. 16 minutes.

    • Bus:
      The Vienna Airport Lines busses take you to Schwedenplatz/Morzinplatz located in the center of Vienna in about 22 minutes (Adult Fare: EUR 8,-)

    • Regional train:
      Take the regional trains from Vienna Airport to ‘Wien Mitte / Landstrasse’ or ‘Wien Hauptbahnhof’ (Central Station). The ride takes about 15-23 minutes.
