Maximilian Salcher-Konrad, BSc, MSc joined the Pharmacoeconomics department at Gesundheit Österreich GmbH / Austrian National Public Health Institute in 2021, where he conducts applied pharmaceutical policy research on pricing, reimbursement, and procurement of medicines. He holds an MSc in Health Policy, Planning and Financing from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and a BSc in Economics from the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU). He has previously worked as a Research Fellow at the LSE, where he spent seven years conducting research on comparative effectiveness of health interventions, methodological aspects of comparative effectiveness research and pharmaceutical policy, pharmaceutical regulation, and economic evaluation. Maximilian has a track record of leading and publishing original studies, systematic reviews and meta-analyses, including on the comparative effectiveness of interventions and mapping how evidence is generated in different research areas.
