Mag. (FH) Bettina Heindl has extensive experience in the analysis of pharmaceutical prices across European countries and beyond. Ms. Heindl joined the Austrian National Public Health Institute (Gesundheit Österreich GmbH) in 2005. In addition to her expertise in pharmaceutical prices and medical devices, she is also a team member of the web-based platform on Austrian hospitals. Her main projects are the European Databank on Medical Devices (EUDAMED), the European Price Databank (EURIPID) and the further development of the Pharmaceutical Price Information Service as head of this service. She obtained a master’s degree in Economics from the Faculty of Economical Sciences of the University of Applied Science in Wiener Neustadt in Austria. In addition, she works as a paramedic on a voluntary basis. Throughout her career, Bettina Heindl has gained extensive experience in project management and leadership.
